Santa game

'Christmas just won’t be Christmas without Rudolph. Click on the picture to try to find him – you’ll be told when you are warmer or colder.'

Rudolph first appeared pulling Father Christmas’s sleigh in 1939 - and here’s ten games featuring him.

I know that we played reindeer games in 2009, but I found so many featuring Rudolph that I thought we would do it all over again!

All together now… Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer…

Small but important print: All games are free downloads or free to view online, and need the minimum of equipment. Some games require your browser to have a 'plug in' for Shockwave, Flash or Java.

To play a game, simply click on its name. If you are a parent, we advise you to try the game and the site it's on first before letting your kids play them, to make sure you're happy.

When downloading games from the Internet, don't forget to keep your anti-virus and anti-spyware software up to date.

Rebuilding Rudolf
Can you put Rudolph back together? Drag and drop pieces with your mouse.

Where’s Rudolph?
Christmas just won’t be Christmas without Rudolph. Click on the picture to try to find him – you’ll be told when you are warmer or colder.

Santa and Rudolph slide puzzle
Click on the spaces to move a piece of puzzle. It’s harder than it looks

Santa Sling
Rather than climbing onto the roof, Santa is using a sling shot between Rudolph’s antlers to deliver the presents. Using the mouse, pull back the present and slingshot it down the chimney!

Red Nose Rudolph dress up game
Dress Rudolph, change his eyes and nose, and change the background too, all at the click of a mouse.

Rudolph!
Use the arrows to help Rudolph collect all the presents on each level, and avoid the obstacles. It’[s a simple platform game but do avoid the icicles!

Rudolph’s Red Race
This is an odd one, perhaps to play to ease the Christmas frustration. You can be good Santa, Bad Santa or Free Spirit Santa, choosing your own destiny.

For Good Santa, use the mouse to move and to shoot enemies, click A to deliver presents, and S to scatter sweets to distract children. Space is for ‘super attack’.

If it has all got too much this Christmas and you want to be Bad Santa and blow up the world, D drops bombs down house chimneys!

Look out for special items to help you out, such as glasses of milk for Father Christmas. Want more? W throws sweets in different directions, Q throws presents upwards and F fires the nose later.

Tic-tac-toe
Play tic-tac-toe (noughts and crosses) as Rudolph against Frosty the snowman, Prancer or Santa. Choose who you want to be and who you want your opponent to be and get clicking.

Rudolph’s Nose
You need to get all the Rudolph noses to turn red to light up the way. Clicking on one nose changes its colour and the colour of some of the other noses around it - work out the pattern to get all the noses red and move to the next level.

Rudolph the Xmas Hero
All of Father Christmas’s presents have been stolen. Help Rudolph to find them all - use your mouse to move him, and click to jump. And keep away from the nasty things that are chasing you!

And finally - a non-computer game - pin the nose on Rudolph. Well, all there is left to say now is Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
