You drank too much last night and woke up in a locked room with a few rings, keys, tapes and notes around. Can you work out what’s going on and perhaps escape? Instructions are in Engrish (Japanese English – like Franglais only not).
Turn over tiles and they change colour, but so do the ones north, south, east and west of them. Makes you think a bit. Apparently there is a four move solution to the 16 square grid. Some people have too much brain.
Simple. How many goes does it take you to guess a number between 1 and 999 simply by being told if your guess is to high or too low?
Use the arrow keys to navigate your way through a giant maze. You know where you need to get to but you can only see a bit of it at a time. How good is your two dimensional recall? More important, how cramp-free are your arrow-key muscles?
A bit like Connect 4 only you can drop the counters in at different angles. Fun. Designed for two players sitting at the same desk but I played against myself and lost badly.
A picture is obscured by numbers. Click on a number and that piece of the picture is revealed. Then you have to move that many spaces to the next number. Solitaire principles; hard to finish.
Score points by clicking on tiles which make the magic number when added, subtracted, divided or multiplied. Good for maths training. Demo levels pretty easy.
The computer thinks of a secret two-digit number. I say thinks; I mean randomly generates. You ask the computer questions to work out what the number is. Good for helping children with maths.
A nice, simple-to-learn but hard-to-master tactics game. You compete against the computer trying to make it take the last counter from a board. At intermediate level it becomes tricky. At expert level the computer has such a good system you can only win by going second.
You are trying to build a tower with the heaviest stones on the bottom and the lightest ones at the top. Try and beat the devious Vikings who build their tower in secret and use your discarded stones in their project.
