Bush Shoot Out

George Bush defends the Whitehouse in Bush Shoot Out.

'Stupid waste of time or memory therapy? Your call.'

Start the New Year as you mean to go on by shooting things to pieces (it's a joke Mavis, it's a joke).

Steve Tilley reviews a selection of target games..

Some games require your browser to have a 'plug in' for Shockwave. You can download this for free here here

If you are a parent, we advise you to try the game and the site it's on first before letting your kids play them, to make sure you're happy. (And, don't forget, you can also find great games for kids in our own Global Gang area).

To play a game, simply click on its name.

You have a sling to fire a ball-bearing at a build up of bricks. Lovely action and nice ‘ping’ like a sonar.

Bush Shoot Out
The President keeps a machine gun in his desk. Handy when terrorists come to get him. Will you allow them to kidnap and torture his staff. Oh go on.

Eat the Fly
You are a frog. Lie on your back and eat flies.

Mouse Speed
How fast can you move your mouse over counters 1-7 and click on them? Simple as that. Pointless and addictive.

Plastic Martians
Breakout in the round. On Mars plastic makes a metallic noise. Passed the time of day.

Seven Seas
You are the captain of a pirate ship. Move around the seven seas firing broadsides at other shipping or escaping through whirlpools (eh?).

An interesting twist on the old ‘Breakout’ game. Bounce balls off your paddle to smash the bricks. Catch the ones that give you special powers. That sort of thing.

Spank the Monkey
Use the mouse to manoeuvre a glove to spank the monkey. Tricky action to get the hang of. You will be told how many MPH you spanked the monkey at. Since Smack the Pingu (2/04) has now been moved to a site requiring registration why not smack a plastic monkey instead? You know you want to.

The Pond
Orisimal game so you know to expect peaceful stuff. Make ripples on the pond to direct the food towards the ducks. Freeze the pond to make it easier.

Memorise the positions of asteroids on a fairly large grid, then try to reproduce their positions. Stupid waste of time or memory therapy? Your call.
