Supporting Christian Aid's work

Surefish.co.uk is a part of Christian Aid Trading Ltd, the trading arm of Christian Aid.

Christian Aid is an agency of the churches in the UK and Ireland. It works wherever the need is greatest – irrespective of religion or race.

Because it believes in strengthening people to find their own solutions to the problems they face, it supports local organisations, which are best placed to understand local needs. It also gives help on the ground through 16 overseas offices.

It strives for a new world transformed by an end to poverty and it campaigns to change the rules that keep people poor.

All of the money generated by Surefish, after running costs, is collected by Christian Aid’s trading company, Christian Aid Trading Ltd. Throughout each year, Christian Aid Trading Ltd gives Christian Aid a lot of money: in 2005/2006, it gave Christian Aid over half a million pounds, £101,000 of which came from users of Surefish.
